SJB Group Expands Services Offering with
New Construction Services Department Manager

BATON ROUGE, La., February 19, 2007, SJB Group, LLC today announced that Mr. Ernest P. “E.P.” Holmes, AIA, has joined the Construction Services Department as Department Manager. Mr. Wilfred Barry, President of SJB Group stated, “With over 30 years of experience and a diverse and wide-ranging portfolio, we are pleased and honored to have E.P. join our team and are confident that his expertise will pilot the division into offering a broader range of services.”

In this role, Mr. Holmes will expand the capabilities of SJB Group’s Construction Services Department, which has concentrated on Construction Time Analysis services for statewide road construction projects, to include comprehensive owner’s representation services from project planning through ongoing capital maintenance programs for both public and private sector clients including developers, financial institutions, REIT’s, and public agencies that develop, construct, or maintain Real Property.

Specific services include program management, property condition assessments, project cost estimating and schedule development, constructability reviews, bid evaluation, value engineering, quality monitoring and assurance, on-site inspections, payment review and approval, change order management, punch list resolution and claims avoidance.

Prior to joining SJB Group, Mr. Holmes served as Regional Director with PinnacleOne where he provided program management, design and construction consultation and expert analysis and testimony. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University in 1974 and is licensed in 11 states. He has lectured on various technical construction issues including construction inspection, construction defects leading to building failure, and the standard of care for design professionals. He is a prior recipient of the AIA Regional Design Award, LAA Honor Award, BIA Excellence in Design Award and Gulf States Excellence in Lighting Award.
