SJB Group, LLC Announces Mr. Eric M. Poche’ to Lead Parks & Planning

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, March 19, 2007, SJB Group, LLC today announced that Mr. Eric M. Poche’, ASLA, has been appointed Director of Parks & Planning, reporting to Vice President and Engineering Division Manager, Mickey L. Robertson. Mr. Poche’ has been with SJB Group since 2006 as a Senior Land Planner and Landscape Architect. During his tenure, Mr. Poche’ has managed several planning projects including Cypress Crossing, a 350-acre residential development in Lafayette Parish, Dutchtown Gardens, a single-family residential development in Ascension Parish, and recreational consulting for Ascension Parish’s skate park project.

In his new role as Director of Parks & Planning, which specializes in land planning and landscape architecture services for community, residential, commercial, mixed-use and recreation projects, Mr. Poche’ will supervise staff, manage projects and profitability, develop and negotiate proposals and contracts, maintain key client relationships, assist with service quality and perform project review and control.

As owner of a landscape design company for 12 years, Mr. Poche’ developed a strong background in design, planning, estimating and construction document preparation. His experience also includes neighborhood entry, streetscape and town center projects for The Woodlands Operating Company in Houston, Texas. Mr. Poche’ also managed Military Housing Privatization Projects with budgets exceeding $50 million for Hanscom Air Force Base in Boston, Massachusetts and Little Rock Air Force Base in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Prior to joining SJB Group, Mr. Poche’ was Landscape Architect and Project Manager with SLA Studioland, Inc. in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1989 from Louisiana State University A&M. Mr. Poche’ has 18 years of experience in land planning and landscape architecture and is a registered Landscape Architect in Louisiana.
