SJB Group, LLC Announces Real Estate Services Division and Welcomes New Division Manager

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, January 27, 2006, SJB Group, LLC is proud to announce the formation of a Real Estate Services Division and the addition of Mr. Joseph S. Recile as Real Estate Services Division Manager. The Real Estate Services Division will provide a full range of support services to local and state agencies involved in property acquisition for public works improvement projects.

Public works projects increasingly suffer delays because of difficulties addressing three critical items: environmental clearances, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition and utility relocations. SJB Group’s Real Estate Services Division will assist its clients in expediting ROW acquisition, which has become increasingly expensive, almost equaling the funding demands of the actual physical improvements. As the value of property soars, the costs and time required for acquisition are rising quickly as well.

Leading the Real Estate Services Division is Mr. Recile, a real estate professional with 34 years of experience in the acquisition of real estate for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD). Mr. Recile began his career at LA DOTD as a Real Estate Agent I and advanced over the years to serve as a District Manager for Districts 62 in Hammond and District 61 in Baton Rouge. As Manager for District 61, Mr. Recile trained 60 consultants on the LA DOTD panels in ROW acquisition, relocation assistance and title work. Mr. Recile is Certified in all phases of ROW acquisition under the federal guidelines of the Uniform Act relative to state and federal law regarding relocation assistance, improvement control, off system bridges, urban system projects, enhancement projects, title research and clearing mortgaged property.

A staff of full time real estate professionals will supplement Mr. Recile’s expertise with knowledge in all areas of real estate services. SJB Group’s staff of professional engineers, surveyors and technicians will support these services with expertise in surveying and mapping as well as engineering design for highway and utility projects.
