Today, we celebrate more than a man, we uphold and continue to spread the messages he fought for.

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
We must remember our words and values may extend beyond the years of a person's life. In fact, they may carry volumes to the greatest reaches of the world. These words or messages may inspire hope, motivate passion, and even change the laws that we use to create fair and just balance among our citizens. We thank Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and all that served with him for fighting for a fair and balanced society. We hope to help continue his message as we look forward to assisting in the development of new schools across Baton Rouge. If we want to build a better tomorrow, we need to ensure equal opportunities for the next generation by developing access to the greatest education in their city.
